South Hill may not have the same name recognition as a Rosedale or a Forest Hill, but it is every bit as glamorous and exclusive as these other elite Toronto neighbourhoods. The area is dominated by an escarpment which was formed by the former Lake Iroquois during the ice ages. This hill allows residents to enjoy the city from a complimentary point of view, not to mention, Casa Loma is in the shadows providing additional beauty. Defined by Avenue Road, South Hill contains some of the largest houses in Toronto.
